My name is also on the ED just for 1 quote but I think that even if they do write even a whole article on me I just will sit back and let it happen.. The people that really do know me also know that that stuff is a bunch of BS and the whole reason that these ED people are even doing what they are doing is because they know that they will get a reaction out of us.

Granted, you got a point there.

had set up just to vandalise the articles in question. Acting all butthurt like that about something there only makes it worse in the long run.
Vandalizing those articles was indeed a bad move. But some people over "there" just don't have the same sense of humor as you.

It was just a hypothetical case. It would be juvenile if I'd call you names. Besides, I don't know a thing about you or your history.

...And I can recite every word of every episode of every series of Star Trek. I speak fluent Klingon and the closest I have ever come to seeing a real woman was the Seven of Nine sex doll I made several years ago. William Shatner and Patrick Stewart both have restraining orders against me and I made that kid who played Wesley Crusher cry on at least 17 separate occasions.

There's a small difference between what I originally wrote and what shows in Ian's quoted text. Read carefully, you'll spot the difference soon enough.

Parody and satire protections don't absolve someone's liability and responsibilities completely. Courts award damages for libel and emotional distress all the time.

It's okay as long as they shouted out a disclaimer saying not to assume they were aiming at you intentionally.

    amirite?

While one may take things much further than the others, they're effectively doing the same thing.
And if either of those sites cause significant injuries to someone, then they should also be held accountable too. Being free doesn't mean there's no accountability for any stupid crap you may choose to do.

I have never taken serious business in the Internet, but I tried to earn some freebie money.

But my main business (not serious) is beta-testing of different programs! I can get genuine product keys for free if work so.
