Trivia
This short is occasionally aired alongside "Mickey's Christmas Carol" in an hour-long televised Christmas special.
Blooper? When Pluto's is "singing" near the end of the film, Chip is seen reaching off screen to grab something while Dale is still bent over plugging his ears. Suddenly, it's Dale who leaps into the next frame with a "do not open until x-mas" sticker in his hands to slap over Pluto's mouth. Because of the nature of the frame transition, it is possible that Chip handed the sticker to Dale and we just didn't see it happen. But without pondering the what-ifs, it simply looks like someone made a mistake and used the wrong chipmunk.
