When a wannabe rock star hijacks Queenie's hive to use as her own personal army, only Zipper and the Rescue Rangers can help. They show the hive who the real queen bee is, and Zipper finds love along the way.

• "Risky Beesness" is a play on the phrase and 1983 movie title "Risky Buisness" - Starring Tom Cruise and Rebecca De Mornay.
• The bees in this episode are closely modeled after the "Spike the Bee" character used in many classic Disney animated shorts, including "Bee at the Beach" and "Bee on Guard."  Spike was usually paired up with Donald Duck, but had a few run-ins with Pluto as well - much like Chip 'n' Dale.  Most of these cartoons can be found on the 1985 Disney VHS release, "Donald's Bee Pictures"; Alternately, the 2005 DVD release "Classic Cartoon Favorites: Starring Donald" contains two of these shorts, "Inferior Decorators" and "Bee at the Beach."
