Chip and Dale have to use every trick in the book - including disguising themselves as human hands with the help of gardening gloves - if they want to get their acorns out of Pluto's dog house and back inside their tree.

Trivia

There is a scene near the beginning of the short where it seems the animators weren't sure which chipmunk they were supposed to be drawing. As Dale is rolling down the hill on an acorn, he tumbles over so his face flips towards the camera just before he flies into Pluto's mouth. In those few frames, there is an extreme close-up shot of Dale's face, only... it isn't Dale.
